With my desire to know more about what is happening with the tools we use, an informative blog like Researchbuzz (you can find it at http://researchbuzz.me/), really suits my style. There is enthusiasm, great links and currency but it does read a bit like a dot point essay; great if you are in a hurry but not exactly perfect for building an audience. I gather the blog author, Tara Calishain has extensively used alerts to source her suggested links if her article about the demise of Google reader is anything to go by!
By the way when creating the Researchbuzz link I had the option to use the rel=nofollow attribute which I had no idea about. I clicked on the learn more and then did learn more... I used the nofollow option.
